Hello Tweets,

Today my mother and I birded around Tacoma for a few hours at 2 locations,
starting at the Gog-le-hi-te Wetland-Puyallup River area to check for large
gull flocks, which we were unable to find during our visit at approaching
high tide. Our next and final stop was made at the Flett Creek Basin in
Lakewood, just southwest of Tacoma, along Flett Creek. The major highlights
were two W.SCRUB JAYS at the northend of the Mountain View Cemetery, and
nine GR.W.F.GEESE in the large(86 acre)field, just north of the Flett
Dairy. A few other notables included 1 HERRING GULL, 12 Y.R.WARBLERS, and 9
W.MEADOWLARKS, all present in the wetland area, north of the cemetery.
