Thought I'd send another message to the list and see what happens as far as
the "HAPPY" virus. To date to my knowledge, this virus has not been on my
system, nor on the system of anyone with whom I regularly correspond via
e-mail. Based on my limited understanding of such matters, however, I
gather my system could have been corrupted by some other route if, in fact,
I am the source of the virus? Anyway - I will wait until I get an "all
clear" from someone - Don Baccus, apparently you are the expert at this? -
before I send any more messages. I certainly hope I am not creating any
further problems by sending this message and again, will send no more to the
list until I hear from someone as to whether I am the source of the problem.

Here is what my message back to you said, Bob (retyped) -

I have no particular birds I am looking for, but rather look forward to
seeing *any* that I do not see here in Indiana. I do attempt to keep track
of when and where I see new birds, but have not officially started a "life
list." Rather, I just look forward to the opportunity to be in new places
and see new birds! I suppose if I have the opportunity during my visit to
hang around *too* much with you of Tweeters fame, though, I'll probably be
inspired to be more diligent about and organized in keeping track of my
sightings. :o) However, I think my primary interest is in being able to
join some of you as you bird your favorite spots, benefiting from your
knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm, and maybe even making some new
friends in the process. That would make for a great trip!
