I had a great experience today. I found a baby swallow in the middle of the
street near a friend's house. It couldn't fly and would have been runover
soon. I picked it up and my friend put it into his swallow box. It may
have come from that box or another nest nearby. Hopefully, it will recover.
I'm not sure if it got hurt flying or what. It may not even be able to fly
yet. But it wouldn't have survived much longer in the middle of the road.
But it's quite an experience holding something so small and precious.
