Tweets,
I saw a male Western Bluebird on 208th, this is off of the Issaquah-Hobart
Rd. South of Issaquah. 208th takes a left turn at the Hobart Fire station.
Based on the habitat, lateness of year and the occurrence of W.Bluebirds
in this area I would guess that this male was on territory and probably
breeding.
On the baby bird thread, several nests of Swainson's thrushes
have now fledged at areas like Cougar Mountain, and North Bend. Those
nests are always one of my favorites to find as they are so well hidden in
the understory.
