Hi Susan and tweeters,
Since you mention a big Insect it could be a Dragonflie. I been going all
over our state trying to collect Dragonflies. One particular day last week
at the Schouweiler Wildlife area there i saw a swallow chasing a big
Ahsna-Darner.I watched this chasing for a while and than it happen the
Swallow took this big Dragonflie. That day this was the only Dragonflie i
saw there.I discovert when ever there are lot's of swallows around there
are noDragonflies around. I found a verry good spot for Dragonfies on the
Black River in Littlerock Thurston Co.There i spent almost two days try to
get a verry wanted species of Dragonflies and i believe found in two County
on Langendorfer Lake in King Co.and Mc Lane Creek Beaver Pond and on Black
River Thurston Co.I took my little Paddle Boat today but forgot my Lifewest
so i stayed manly on one spot.A Canoe would be proper to use there. I
managed to get few specis right on the Waters edge, the RIVER JEWELWING,
which i only had one time last year.The weather is going to be great now
for Dragonflies. Finaly Sommer arrived.
