Banding Report for Neawanna Wetland Preserve
Seaside, Clatsop Co. OR
08 July 1999
Method: Up to eight 9m mist nets are placed in mixed Oregon
Crabapple/Twinberry/Spruce along the the upper Neawanna River,
Seaside, Clatsop Co. OR. Captured birds are measured, ringed
with USBBL numbered metal bands and released. Data on time of
capture and side of net captured are also recorded to gain
an understanding of movements through the area.

Notes: Things have really quieted down at the banding station to
residents background. 4 of 7 new captures today were hatching
year birds. AMERICAN CROWS were carrying nest material and a
WESTERN WOOD PEWEE was calling all morning.
