I checked with Dave Clause. Ft. Lewis has banded several years worth of
purple martins, but not with color bands. They've used only the AVISE bands,
the aluminum ones. So......whomever it is that's banding using red color
bands, it's not Ft. Lewis. But thanks, much, for the info...we're going to
color band PUMAs this year, and we know now to not use red bands.
