Method: 60 minute station count at 100m west of "3 rocks" on
SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach, sitting
on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: Something must have been up at the Sand Island cormorant
colony. Over the space of 10 min, over 400 DOUBLE-CRESTED
CORMORANTS flew over the jetty heading south. COMMON MURRE number
seem to have stablized a bit. There is still a fairly good sized
raft fishing in the ocean. Todd Thornton, observing independently,
saw at least one probably several CASSIN'S AUKLET during the
observation period.
