Hi Deborah, Tweets

I've heard and/or seen Caspian Terns just about every time I've been near
Elliott Bay this summer, including this morning. The past two years, I
could usually locate them roosting on the roof of one of the warehouses at
Pier 91, but this year there's a very large ship tied up there and no terns.
I also saw five at Rattlesnake Lake near North Bend about 3 or 4 weeks ago,
which I didn't expect.

Does anyone know what their breeding status is in Puget Sound this year?
There have been a lot of postings about the terns at the mouth of the
Columbia, but what about up here? I heard last summer that they hadn't bred
in Puget Sound since the Navy broke up the colony at Everett. Anyone know?
