The are about 150 pair that can be easily seen on Haystack Rock,
Cannon Beach, OREGON. I think this is the most accessible population
on the Pacific Coast south of Alaska. And before I get flamed, let
me emphasize ACCESSIBLE. You park, you walk 50m and there's an
interpretor with a spotting scope already focused on the birds.
