Hello Tweeters,
Athank you to all the birders who so kindly responded to me in such a
positive way (on tweeters and privatly) that i chanced to go back and try
for my wanted Dragonflie.I started out right on the road on a smal creek
which is not realy visible by car. This is where i had the "GRAPPLETAIL"the
other day. I went back today to get the photos which i dint take.I took a
little shair to sit down. I was surrounded. by all kin'ds of birds. One
stood out paticular the Swainson's Thrushes feeding on all the Salmonberry
which where close to the creek. I din't get any photos there, time sped two
hours.I decided on the other side of the road. I this start looking and not
only i found the GRAPPLETAIL but the most attractive "PACIFIC
SPIKETAIL"which i only have for eastern Washington. There are only three
County on the Westside where there be found King Co.Lewis Co.and
Scamania. This Dragoflie is quite large and quite hard to catch. Since i
already collected one last year i this took photos. So after i finnish i
went down the road try to get to Stossel Creek the area i saw the Cougar
last Sunday. I never got all the way down to the area where i supposed to
be, but on the road i had more "Pacific Spiketail, but i am glad i din't
see any Cougars.
