Few days ago i got my quarterly Oregon Birds.Front page a verry superb
photo of a" WILSON'S PLOVER "(by Skip Russell) inside on the FIELD NOTES
onother evenly good photo (by Alan Barron). This bird was sighted on
September10th and stayed toOctober 4th 1998. I remember reading about on
Harry Nehls Hotline and din't think about going to see this bird. Seeing
this photos i can kick myself to miss this rare mexican race beldingi.
Also about the sightings of the Oregon's "FIRST LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH."
Bill Tice told a long but most interesting story how he broke the record
from 1990 Bill Tice goes in details how he garnished 209 bird species in
Polk County in 1998. Congratulation Bill on such achivment!!!!!!
I guess i have to watch the Hot-line and start chasing birds again
