Wind NW 5-10; Temp 60F


Method: 60 minute station count at 100m west of "3 rocks" on
SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach, sitting
on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: At least two COMMON MURRES were with chicks today and there
were plenty of adults fishing in the area. Large numbers were feeding
in the river. A PIGEON GUILLEMOT was carrying food. There were 20
juvenile CASPIAN TERNS with the loafing flock of adult terns on the
river beach.
