Today we went to Omak to see how the eagle was doing. It is
still touch and go, but it has gained a little over 1/2 pound.
When we got it to the Vet it only weighed 7 pounds. I think it
should weigh about 10 pounds.

It gets on and off the perch and is drinking and eating some
on its own. The Vet. is still tube feeding it because the
birds esophagus is very small from the swelling. When Sandy
and I got close to the pen it raised the feathers on the back
of its head and glared at us. GREAT!! It's getting fiesty.

Will post the photos when the film is developed.
