Delightful morning in the park outside Fall City (have never been able to
find a name for it). In the marsh were a pair of Wood Ducks and a calling
Virginia Rail. Up the hill where a road takes off to the left at the spot
where the road crosses a small creek were Warbling Vireo, Western Tanager,
Black-throated Gray Warbler, Orange-Crowned Warbler, Swainson's Thrush (lots
of them singing throughout the park), and Cedar Waxwing. No other persons!
