hello tweets.

a colleague of mine is teaching the second term of a senior-level
ecology course. as part of this course, she is taking her students
on a field trip to padilla bay on august 1st. in order to prepare
her students for this field trip, they will form small groups and
each group will research one taxon of animals or plants that they
should expect to find when they are there. if anyone has a bird
list from padilla bay that they'd like to share with the "bird
group," please send a copy to the instructor at this email address:
eli at zoology.washington.edu

if you are interested in reading more about this course, it has
a very nice webpage, complete with on-line reading assignments
and lecture notes, at this URL;
