I'm also considering the LASIK surgery and would very much
like to hear the experiences of any other birders who have
had it. Thanks to those of you who already have commented!

I started with reading glasses about 20 years ago and then
bifocals about 10. I find that specs are a pain for birding
(either with binoculars or telescope), and that bifocals are
a pain for computer work (I switch back to some old reading
glasses).

One slight benefit to specs is that my eyes seem to tear
less in the wind. Anyone else find this?
