Hi Tweets,
I never expected to receive so much "descriptive terminology" for vultures,
but this is a run-down for those interested:
a casket of vultures a wake of vultures an autopsy of vultures
an undertaking of vultures a hearse of vultures an anticipation of vultures
a feeding of vultures a gut of vultures a frenzy of vultures
and, a kettle of vultures
(I think we would have had more but Bob Mauritsen went to bed . . . :-)
What a lot of creative thinking. I think I would go with Roger Craik's "an
anticipation of vultures." It's how I would think of vultures anyway:
patient, perching, perusing - pure anticipation.
Thanks for the feedback everyone.
Cheers, Diann
