I birded to the summit of Silver Star Mountain, the highest point in
Clark County on Friday, July 23. At about the 4,500 foot level we
encountered a ROCK WREN carrying food and acting quit upset as we paused
near a rock outcropping. This was the first record for this species in
Clark County that I am aware of.
