Vic Nelson reported a BALTIMORE ORIOLE yesterday evening on the BirdBox.
Detailed directions are given there (and will be included in the full
transcript of the BirdBox eventually), but given the rarity of this species
in Washington, a news alert seems in order.

Vic saw the bird near the Echo Valley Ski Area, about seven miles from
Chelan. Take SR 150 from Chelan toward Manson, turn off on Boyd Road then
Boyd Lopp Road, and follow signs to the ski area. After the ski area the
pavement ends and the road continues as FR 8020 to Cooper Mountain. In
about 1.2 to 1.3 miles from the end of the pavement, the road takes a sharp
left-hand bend up the mountain. The oriole was seen upslope from there.
