Bullock's Oriole

Tyler,

On the Yakima Canyon road, Hwy 821, there is a small (about 6 sites) BLM
campground called Lmuna Recreational Area. Weekend before last I camped
there and watched a female Bullock's Oriole gathering nesting material not
3 feet from my van. She returned again and again while the male hung out
in close trees. I was never sure exactly where their nest was but it has
to be somewhere in that campground.

This site is about a 2 hour drive from Seattle. It may be further afield
than you can go but you are guaranteed a good long look at a Bullock's. If
you need any more info, let me know.
