Well, if I send to pnw_native at telelists.com, I get a perfectly proper
nonexistent account error message, because the correct spelling uses a
hyphen, not an underscore. :-) I'm not sure where you found the reference
(I looked at the Tweeters page and didn't see it), but if it's their typo,
I'd appreciate it you could let them know, or tell me where you found it so
I can have it corrected.

pnw-natives is a list for the discussion of growing native plants for
wildlife habitat, on any scale from an apartment balcony on up. Wildlife
includes everything from bacteria through bears. The list covers Oregon,
Washington and BC, both wet and dry, though so far most people are from the
wet side. Natives plants are heavily emphasized, partly in reaction to the
about 80-90% of 'wildlife gardening' books that recommend planting english
holly, butterfly bush and other invasives.
