Hey tweets!

Sick of where you live now? The chaos, traffic, congestion, ugly
neighborhood? Looking for something better? Here's a deal! I'm at a
crossroads and in a dilemma. My most perfect living arrangement here in
Eastgate (Bellevue I-90/405) for the past 6 years is up in the air, 10
minutes to Seattle, 20 minutes to SeaTac, easy hassle free shopping in
Bellevue, and instantly gratifying access to the Cascades and Eastern
Washington. My housemate is moving to Lynnwood having after 10 years gotten
sick and tired of long daily commutes to Boeing Everett. He owns this house
in Eastgate and intends to keep it as a backup in the event he ever gets
transferred back to Boeing Renton which won't be any time soon.

*** OPTION 1 ***

I do not want to leave!! I'd buy this place in a heartbeat if he'd sell.
I'd be really hard pressed to ever find another place like this that fits all
my needs anywhere in Pugetopolis although I'm considering that option as well
if anyone has any offers or ideas. Thus, we're offering this place up for
shared rent. 4br split level in very quiet richly wooded and BIRDY
neighborhood butting up against a greenbelt and gurgling stream and nice Mt.
Baker view from the front window. I live and work out of the lower portion;
you would have the run of the upper and main portion (2br incl master, full
bath, living room, and shared kitchen). You would also have the place to
yourself for much of the year since I'm away for up to 8 months per year on
extended research assignments. And I am leaving again in early July and will
be away 'til Christmas! There is enough cords of firewood chopped and ready
to go for the worst case Y2K scenario. Also has large driveway, carport, and
garage, w/d, 2 fireplaces, back porch, and neat little walkway to another
deck overlooking the yard, woods, and creek. Good phone lines for fast
Internet access which I'd like to further upgrade to lightning speed cable.
Yard is low maintenance -- it IS a bird sanctuary (70 species and counting;
incl Pileated Woodpecker, owls (Great Horned, Barn, Western Screech),
Band-tailed Pigeons, Varied Thushes, Red Crossbills, Evening Grosbeaks, etc.,
and such distinguished visitors as Calliope Hummingbird and a White-throated
Sparrow that spent the recent winter here).

The house has been maintained in immaculate condition. We want to keep it
that way!! I've been so lucky to have had such a perfect housemate these
past six years!! So, I'm looking for one (ideally) or two people to share;
male, female, couple, lifestyle, doesn't really matter. Just don't be
obnoxious and/or a dweeb, or totally weird and bizarre; capable of a little
intellectual stimulation on occasion is encouraged. Must be responsible,
employed, neat, clean, and quiet, respectful of the place and environment as
well as each others space, privacy, and personal effects. NO PETS, NO
SMOKING. Rent likely ~$900 - $1000 (not yet established) plus shared
utilities. Available around July 1.

*** OPTION 2 ***

If option 1 isn't going to work, I'm looking for an arrangement similar to
the above on the East Side, preferably in the same general area along the
I-90 corridor, Eastgate - Issaquah - North Bend, and reasonable and
negotiable rent. A very narrow window for sure, and would consider suitable
options or offers elsewhere. ANY OFFERS, IDEAS, OR SUGGESTIONS? A lower
level of a house with 2-3 moderate to large rooms or even an 'extra guest
house' in the back would be ideal, a place offering a place to live, eat,
sleep, and a home office, room for storage, and a safe and dependable place
to park. The more woodsy and birdy, the better.

*** OPTION 3 ***

Give up on Pugetopolis; move to San Luis Obispo.

Any takers? Email me or telephone (425-865-0276). If you know someone who's
not online and/or not on 'tweeters', please pass this message along.
Thanks!! :-))
