Friends,

I'm planning a trip to the interior, and was looking for birding
suggestions. I'll be heading into the Yakima Valley, then to the
Tri-Cities and over to Walla Walla, then down to the Umatilla Reservation
(Pendleton), and then west into the Columbia Gorge. I'm mostly going to
check out tribal museums, Whitman Mission, and the new Columbia Gorge
Interpretive Center, but would appreciate knowing about any birding
hotspots along the way. Go ahead and email me backchannel if you'd like.
