The American Bird Conservancy published a good run down on cats, their
origin, scientific studies of cat predation, diseases they pass among
themselves and to humans, the number of people winding up annually in
hospitals with cat transmitted diseases (200,000 with Cat Scratch Fever
alone),the number in the U.S. and the average number of kittens born
each month, the number killed by highway and road traffic annually if
allowed to roam, etc., etc. etc. How unthinking or irresponsible owners
don't do birds or favor OR their pet cats by letting them roam. It's
called CATS INDOORS. Excellent information. Produces light not heat.
