Hi Tweets,

I went down to Shoreview this morning to look for the Lazuli
Buntings... I didn't find them, but I did find 3 Chipping Sparrows.
First I found the same one singing by the Tennis Courts. Then, on my
way down to the area below the Soccer field, I ran into Steve Dang
(sp?). We were both looking for the Buntings, when we heard a Chipping
Sparrow singing on the hillside west of the soccer field, where the
buntings were before. Sure enough, two Chipping sparrows were sitting
on the blackberry branch, right next to each other.

My finals are next week, and that means it will probably be my last
chance to bird Shoreview for a while. I will try to go when I can, but
if I am not posting on it, you will all know why. Fall Quarter starts
the end of next September. That is when I will have a chance to go on
a regular basis...
