Ron and Carole Louderback reported 4 GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROWS in their
Kennewick yard on May 9 & 10 and possibly 2 CASSIN'S FINCHES on May 11.

Roger and Patty Pollari observed a BULLOCK'S ORIOLE in their West Richland
yard on May 13, an EVENING GROSBEAK on May 17, a CHIPPING SPARROW on May
20, and a LAZULI BUNTING today (May 22).

Madeleine Brown reported that her husband, Lyle Wilhelmi and Ken Foster had
seen a TURKEY VULTURE circling over the Richland airport on May 14.

BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAKS arrived en masse on May 18 and Ruth Fischer saw the
first in her yard that day as well as a GOLDEN-CROWNED SPARROW, which had
been present for about a week.

Ruth Fischer and Nancy LaFramboise observed 2 AMERICAN BITTERN in the marsh
along Snively Road in West Richland on May 21 and 3 VAUX'S SWIFTS over West
Richland.

Dennis Rockwell found a WARBLING VIREO, 2 YELLOW WARBLERS, a WESTERN
TANAGER, a BLACK-HEADED GROSBEAK, 2 CHIPPING SPARROWS and a BULLOCK'S
ORIOLE all in Two Rivers Park on May 19.

On May 13 & 17 I (Bob Woodley) found WESTERN TANAGERS in Groves Park.

On May 18, Nancy LaFramboise and I (BW) observed YELLOW, ORANGE-CROWNED,
YELLOW-RUMPED, and WILSON'S WARBLERS on Bateman Island while on May 19, we
found TOWNSEND'S & WILSON'S WARBLERS in WE Johnson Park.

On May 20, I (BW) saw a CASSIN'S VIREO and WILSON'S WARBLERS in Groves Park
where on May 21, I again saw 2 VAUX'S SWIFTS which had been present since
May 3.

Lastly, today I (BW) found 2 EASTERN KINGBIRDS and a single SPOTTED
SANDPIPER on the Yakima Delta.
