I do not want to get flamed, but I thought this information should be passed
on, if anyone has "problems" ,write to "Organic Gardening Magazine".
In the latest isssue (July/August) the editor of "Organic Gardening
Magazine" responsed to a question a reader had about the product" Roundup",
and its' use as a weed killer.
The editor replied." Roundup is toxic to earthworms, benefical insects,
birds, and mammals . Plus it destroys the vegetation on which they depennd
for food and shelter." The editor goes on to say that it has not "broken
down" into harmless products but has shown long lasting toxicity.
Just a note from one organic gardener/birder.
