Ravens also make the strange groaning and whining type sounds quite often.
Usually it is a soitary bird perched in a tree. But it is loud enough to
make one hear it inside and go out to find out what is making the noise
because it sounds human. They can also make some noises that sound more like
a "toc, toc, toc".
