Hi,
Last Sunday morning, June 6, my husband and I were driving along Hwy
24 from Moxee towards Othello. Near milepost 61 we saw conservativly 50
Swainson's Hawks. They were on the fenceposts along the road, in the
sagebrush, some were on the ground and a few were flying overhead. They all
were within 1/2 mile stretch of the highway. It really was an awesome sight!

My thought is they were migrating north, a little late, like alot of
other birds this spring.

On our way back about 4:00 the same day, the Swainson's Hawks were
not there.
