Subject: Odd Hummer

I just remembered--it seems like there is a time of the year when
Selasphorus hummers molt and their wings don't whistle at that time.
I think that happens in late summer/early fall, but I could be
mistaken on all of this. I have no idea where I got this
information. Has anyone else heard of this?
