I appreciate the Roundup/Rodeo info. Rarely use it, but I am sometimes
in meetings about greenspaces and watersheds, where things get quite
heated, nobody's an expert, and any reliable info is useful.

Was trying to watch the "antiques roadshow - kids version" and the
cat, who escapes tothe outside sometimes, brought in a fledging starling.
Bargello (the cat) prefers to bring his toys inside, so they are
rarely seriously injured.

He is grabbed and immediately banned to the basement from which there is
no escape. Meanwhile, junior starling has managed to crawl under a
bookcase that is ready to fall apart, and impossible to get under to
get him out.

Finally managed to get a stick wedged in to force him out, an
undamaged but seriously pissed junior starling. I didn't like the
idea of letting him go but the only things that I have no
second thoughts about killing are the rats the cat brings home.

Meanwhile I mailed off my chickadee nest. That sounds weird.
The parents and babies took off immediately after fledging which
is unusual, usually they stay around a few days.
