Subject: Giant white motmot spotted over Lacey!

.... or maybe it was an albino Pomarine Jaeger with really big spoons? No,
what I saw flying down 6th Avenue in lacey was a Glaucous-winged Gull
carrying a stalk of Pampas grass in its bill - the fluffy white grass head
extended past the tail, perfectly centered, looking for all the world like
part of the tail. It sure gave me a start!

Now I'm wondering where the gulls are nesting. Roof of the South Sound
Mall?
