Hi Tweets,

Today I headed out to the Kent Ponds and worked on spotting and ID-ing
"tweetie boids".

Saw three.

AMERICAN GOLDFINCH, this one I knew fer sure. I've seen them many times
before.

COMMON YELLOW THROAT This tweetie had a black and white head, dark wings
and back and a yellow throat and breast. Did I nail this one?

SAVANAH SPARROW

Another sparrow.....about the same size with a streaked breast, clear
belly and a black spot on the breast. It had a streaked head without the
yellowish stripe.

What are some of the other sparrows one is apt to find at the Kent Ponds?

Several KILLDEER and a GREAT BLUE HERON
