For all of you frustrated tweeters who have been trying to get into the
Bellevue osprey cam that I posted (with good intent, I assure you), there
is another osprey cam - soon to be running - at the Mountsberg Conservation
District near Campbellville, Ontario (I found this through the Canadian
Peregrine site). The camera is up, there is a lot of information plus a
test photo, but . . . they are putting in an infrared camera so that they
will have 24-hour coverage. This is something I haven't seen done at any
of the sites I know about. The address for the Mountsberg nestcam is:

.. . the ospreys are incubating three eggs.

It's amazing what one can find while looking for something else . . . while
trying to find some more ospreys for frustrated ospreyfiles or whatever, I
checked out the Lochgarten Osprey site to be told that the adults had taken
off for South Africa (must have been last year's message, because further
down they said that three had fledged, etc.). Anyway, when I clicked on
their (BBC Online) "Web Cam sites" I found a seabird cam and a frog cam!!
No frogs, though :-(

So, again, my apologies re the Bellevue site . . . don't know what their
problem is.
