Amy McQuade led 13 other birders on an ELWAS field trip to San Juan Is. The
day started out cloudy and windy on the ferry and became partly cloudy by
1100. We had a total of 58 species seen or heard. We also saw deer, weasel a
many harbor seals, but did not see any whales. Others we talked to had seen
whales earlier.
