I have a thistle feeder with a broken bottom perch. It has turned out
to be the perfect feeder for the Goldfinches and Siskins. No other
birds even try it any more. I only have feed in the bottom (when it was
full the young House Finches would try to feed), and the two species
hang upside down to feed. Frequently opposing male and female; these
are the times I wish I was a good photographer.

Our local Redtails and female Eagle with 1 young are back.
