Joyce Meyer and I did the fourth annual BBS of the Redmond to Bothell area.
our first stop was at 0442 at the Evans Marsh on the "Old Brick Road" (196th
Ave.) in Redmond and our last and 29th stop was at North Creek Park in
Bothell. We finished at 0940. It was a perfect day, clear and calm. So many
birds singing at daybreak at the marsh it was difficult to sort them all out
and get a count of each species. This resulted in a high for both species and
total number of birds. At each stop we wait one minute and then count for
five minute, recording for the last two minutes separate from the first three
minutes.
