This is the sunday bird walk report for June 20, 1999,( from 0845 am to
1150 am.)At MacGregor Marsh located just off Rutherford Road in North
Nanaimo.In the time spent birding, there was a steady rain the whole
time, there were six of us out.

We saw and heard a total of 34 species:

Except for the rain it was a very good walk,the highlight's had to be
the black swift and the rich melancholies song's of the Black-headed
Grosbeak, the area was filled with the sounds of the rain dropping and
the birds singing.
