Hi
I am almost finished writing an urban chapter for the ODFW and WDFW Species-Habitat book, but would like to get some good "real-life" grassroots examples for both Oregon and Washington on successful open spaces or corridors that were set aside for wildlife. If any of you have some outstanding examples of this and wouldn't mind sending me a description of the area, what type of habitat, size, the success story and lastly, what type of wildlife you would see on a typical walk during any season (pick your favorite), I certainly would appreciate it. And hopefully these success stories may stimulate other areas being set aside.

Anyway, thanks for your time
Howard
ps If possible could someone post this on OBOL.
