Linda Newberry of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe called me this morning
(Thursday, 6/24) to report a Snowy Egret on the mudflat in front of the
tribal headquarters at the south end of Sequim Bay. It was first seen
yesterday (6/23) evening. Since this is a very unusual species in
Washington, we thought others might be interested.
