Hello Tweeties,

A quick walk with binocs weighting me down tonight.....

I think I saw a SONG SPARROW. It had a reddish brown cap on its head
with grey and reddish brown eye stripes. It's breast was streaked, but
only on the upper part. I didn't see the "spot". Was it or wasn't it?
The little bird was just singing, singing and singing and let me look at
at for a good long while.

I also spied three very young VIOLET GREEN SWALLOWS perched in a row on a
tree branch. They made very brief, tentative flights as they waited for
mom swallow to return for feedings.

Also spied......a CEDAR WAXWING fluttering about in the bushes along the
river.

Near the Neeley Homestead house I found a tree FULL of sparrows of some
kind. I also spotted a couple of humming birds in that same tree.

Also seen........two very fat and long garter snakes.
