Method: 60 minute station count at 100m west of "3 rocks" on
SJCR using 20x60 Bushnell spotting scope and 8x50 Bushnell
binoculars. Birds were sorted as to flyby, sitting on beach, sitting
on ocean or sitting on river.

Notes: A very large movement of COMMON MURRES was moving past the
SJCR this morning flocks of between 200-2000 flew by throughout the
observation period. A good sized feeding flock of murres was on the
ocean as well. Todd Thornton was making independent observations
during the observation period and saw a single SOOTY SHEARWATER
early in the hour.
