I am house bound again as I try and finish up projects and papers. (Only
five weeks to go!) But my confinement was brightened by the first
MacGillivray's Warbler that I have seen in my backyard in our five years
here. It left pretty fast but was thoroughly enjoyed. Since we are not that
high up (500 feet for the Sammamish Plateau) I figure it was heading
somewhere else.

Also had a Pileated stop in on the big tree for awhile.

My attention to my work is somewhat scattered now as I keep looking out the
windows. How often do you see a MacGillivray's by itself?
