Those addresses provided were south of Yelm. I'm sure you're wondering.

Saturday, June 19, 10:08 PM. Hi, this is Jim Flynn at (206) 772-5568. Today
Steve Pink and I birded the Kent Ponds as did Dave Beaudette and Roger
Orness, who we saw there. A couple of the birds that we saw included at least
one or two LAZULI BUNTINGS that were still present. One was singing from the
trees just to the east of the asphalt warehouse which is visible from the
southern trail that follows along the southern border of the pond. And one
LAZULI BUNTING was also on one of the snags inside the pond complex. There
were also about 40 or so BLACK SWIFTS overhead. And there was one WESTERN
KINGBIRD on a snag on the southern border of the pond that has a KESTREL box
on it. That's it. Bye bye.

Monday, June 21, 8:01 AM. Hi, this is Steven Mlodinow. Yesterday Steve Jink
and I birded along US 2 at various spots in Snohomish County. At the Monroe
Prison dairy sewage ponds, viewable from Route 2 in the reeds there was a
YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD and a BANK SWALLOW. We also had two LAZULI BUNTINGS
near Startup. Take US 2 to Kellogg Lake Road. Go north on Kellogg Lake Road.
It is only a minute or two drive. You get to the first road that goes to your
left, there are some houses with large, open yards and some brush. Take that
left, go about a hundred feet and there were two singing male LAZULI BUNTINGS
there. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

Monday, June 21, 7:38 PM. Hi, this is Martha Taylor, (206) 563-4677.
Yesterday morning at Juanita Bay Park I saw some interesting things,
including three CASPIAN TERNS. An OSPREY flew over and ?? gulls catching
fish, ALDER FLYCATCHERS, WILLOW FLYCATCHERS, and RAILS calling. I did see a
baby RAIL there two weeks ago. So, it's an interesting place to be. That's
all. Good luck and good birding.

Tuesday, June 22, 12:57 AM. Michael Pryba, (206) 623-7798. Today at the Kent
Ponds there was as previously reported, a LAZULI BUNTING singing south of the
asphalt path in the brush by one of the warehouses. Also, there was a female
PURPLE MARTIN flying over the eastern edge of the ponds. Thanks. Good bye and
good birding.

Wednesday, June 23, 10:52 PM. Hello, this is Mike Vile, (425) 503-5766.
Birding with Michael Mann today in the Snoqualmie Valley on the Carnation
Farms Road where it crosses the Snoqualmie River. On the Carnation side of
the river there is a small dirt road that goes to the left along the river.
And in the trees along the riverbank there, there was a singing ALDER
FLYCATCHER and there were about a half dozen BLACK SWIFTS flying overhead
along with some VAUX'S SWIFTS. There was also an AMERICAN BITTERN flying by
as we birded there. Thank you and good birding.

We were few and they were plenty. Now we are plenty and they
