Thanks Wayne for providing those phoneticizations of Willow and Alder
Flycatchers - they're excellent!

Regarding the lack of variability in Empid songs, I would like to add that
for most species, abbreviated songs are very common after the first few
hours of the day. I find that many individuals barely manage to get out a
single phrase in the middle of the day. Least Flycatchers may give nothing
more than a single, very weak "bec", and Hammond's Flycatchers a rather
sickly "schlick".
