The story of birds feeding fish like baby birds is TRUE! Look at Song
and Garden Birds of North America by the National geographic
Society(1964). On page 324 you will see a photo of a male North Cardinal
feeding goldfish. The caption states:"Perhaps this foster parent had lost
his own brood". Go figure!
