I own a genuine Irish penny whistle, brought all the way back from
the old sod by my good friend Lori Jo.

I was able to produce only three forest creatures using the whistle:
Pygmy Owl

It is my opinion that Varied Thrush would require a kazoo or comb
with wax paper. A police whistle blown with vigor might produce
Spotted Towhee, with less vigor a Dark-eyed Junco and if a smoker
of some years were to blow a police whistle...Orange-crowned Warbler.

It is also my opinion that all this fuss have been expended for the
mammal Eutamias townsendii and not any of the suggested avians.

But I've been wrong before...
