Hello Tweeters,
I went back to Tenino realy to find the Adult Black-shoudered Kite
again.Idid not see this two imature Birds verry close, and so the other 6
Birders what came. So i walked the east side of the Prarie in the morning
where i had such good looks at them yesterday. I did see 12 meadowlarks out
there all singing there head of. When i came close to the rocky Dike,
there was one smal bird which different. He was hoppig around the rocks
where i had good looks with no weats from cover the bird. I notice the
short bill sparrow type kind o buffy on the brest with a tint of orange,
when he flew little distance to the next rock i saw a smal forked tail
with verry little white outher tail featers. The bird had a distint mask
around the face. Since i have problem hearinf birds i could not tell what
note he made taken of to the nearby grasland. i stayed almost to 4.00pm
and the Kites din't make it to field right on the HYW. The sun was out
bight but it was verry windy and cold, the opposite from the afternoon on
friday.
