Dear Tweets,

I'm in Bend, OR for a conference and I remember some discussion last year
about a Great Gray Owl hanging around one of the golf courses in the area.
If anyone can give me an update and some directions, I'd be greatly
appreciative. I'll be here through Wednesday, March 10th.

On the way down from Tacoma, Heather and I, stopped at Bingen, WA and we
were able to relocate the Tufted Duck between MP 68 and MP 69. This bird
has one heck of a long tuft, seeming to go all the way to the nape of the
neck - quite striking.

As we traveled 97S up from the Gorge towards Bend, we saw lots of Red-tailed
Hawks, a Rough-legged Hawk and a Northern Shrike.

Good Birding,
